These terms apply to every order placed through this shop. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, contact us at info@berrysense.co.uk before you buy.
1. Who we are
BerrySense sells sea buckthorn juice through this website. You can reach us at info@berrysense.co.uk for any question about your order, these terms, or our products.
2. Products
Our products are food and drink items. Product descriptions, images, and specifications on this site describe the product as accurately as we can; minor natural variation in colour and taste between batches is normal for pressed juice. Always check the label, ingredients, and best-before date on the delivered product before consuming it.
3. Ordering and payment
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when your payment is confirmed by our payment provider and you receive an order reference. All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.
Payment is processed by SumUp on SumUp's own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details. If a payment is not completed within the payment window shown at checkout, the order expires automatically and any reserved stock is released.
4. Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom (mainland, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands) using Royal Mail. The services, estimated delivery times, and prices available for your address are shown at checkout. See our delivery page for details. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.
5. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. Because our products are perishable food items, the usual 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly, or to sealed goods once unsealed if they are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons. Full details, including how to report damaged or faulty deliveries, are on our returns & refunds page.
6. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses — this shop supplies products for private use.
7. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption or severe weather. If a delay becomes substantial we will contact you and you may cancel undelivered orders for a full refund.
8. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published when you order applies to that order.
